Queer Tech Mtl: être soi même au travail

Queer Tech Mtl débute l’année 2017 en encourageant les gens de la communauté gaie à se rassembler le 18 janvier afin d’échanger et réseauter avec d’autres professionnels Tech+Queer et leurs amis à Montréal et partout ailleurs.
Queer Tech MTL est un group montréalais qui encourage les gens de la communauté gaie de se sentir à l’aise dans leurs peaux dans la communauté Tech, une communauté qui a le défaut de ne pas toujours être très inclusive. MTL Queer Tech veut changer tout ça, en créant une espace où les gens peuvent se rassembler et travailler pour changer la culture Tech.
Dans le but de promouvoir les orientations sexuelles diverses dans les lieux de travail, MTL Queer Tech a assemblé un groupe de conférenciers d’expérience de la communauté Tech, pour parler de l’importance d’être soi même au travail.

Marie Isabelle Gendron

Travaille chez Pratt & Whitney Canada comme spécialiste technique au centre de service à la clientèle. Sa plus grande réalisation a été sa transformation du masculin au féminin et ainsi être elle-même à 100% dans tous les aspects de sa vie. C’est au début octobre 2014 qu’elle fait officiellement sa transition au travail.

Carlos A. Godoy L.

is the Regional Manager, LGBTA Business Development for Eastern Canada and Quebec Regions at TD Bank Group. He is also an advisor to various philanthropy-related organizations and has significant board of directors leadership experience. He is a former Vice-President Public Affairs of the Quebec LGBT Chamber of Commerce, former Vice-President of the Quebec government’s Regional Youth Council for the Island of Montreal and currently is the President of Ga’ava・גאווה the Jewish community’s LGBTQ Advisory Committee, the Co-Chair of the Board of Belgium-Quebec co-production theatre company Théâtre L’Instant and President of the 2017 FTA Éclaté initiative at the Festival TransAmériques (théâtre + danse).

Elodie Palluet

Marketing and communications manager at KEYRUS Canada, is Vice-President of the LGBT chamber of commerce of Quebec. Prior to joining the IT industry, Elodie acted as a marketing director in the paper industry and as a marketing advisor for a marketing research agency. She holds an M.Sc. in marketing (HEC Montréal) with a mention of honour for her results and conferences.
