JASON WASSERMAN Station 16

Weekly Snaps | Week 10 | DCMTL Blog

Weeks are long, weekends are short and time sure flies when you are having fun.

Here’s what we got up to over the last 7 days and 7 nights!

DETOX.RETOX.REPEAT

While the bar isn’t a conventional spot to host a fitness class, The W Montreal is anything but. Trainer France Girard brought the beat as we gave our mats and sticks a beat down in the newest craze to enter the fitness sphere. The W Montreal partnered with Pound Rockout Workout and Studio Rebel to present DETOX.RETOX.REPEAT. The workout included lightly weighted drumsticks which are engineered specifically for exercising.

Let’s just say that Editor Jessica Nudo was feeling the burn for a few days after.

Nuit Blanche ’67

The chilly weather didn’t stop us from gallery-hopping for Nuit Blanche. The spirit of ’67 was alive at both Atelier Circulaire and Station 16 Gallery, and the excitement was contagious.

Atelier Circulaire opened their doors to the masses, offering complimentary silk screenings of select designs and motifs that reflected the essence of Montreal.

Meanwhile at Station 16 Gallery, artist Jason Wasserman’s live mural painting entertained gallery-hoppers while Delaney Spirits warmed us up with wine and hot cocoa.
