Community: Work Opportunities for Everyone with Aim Croit

AIM CROIT is a non-profit offering a free and specialized employment assistance service that is subsidized by Emploi-Québec, that works with clients to design job search strategies that incorporate free services for those eligible. These services are offered free of charge to job seekers and employers alike.

AIM CROIT

This not for profit is an important resource for people with physical and psychological disabilities and limitations and are searching for jobs in all sectors of activity.  Aim Croit connects prospective employees with jobs that are are adapted to the abilities of each client. The organizations staff meets with job seekers individually and contact them on a regular basis.

JIHPSI

The project Jeunes individus handicapés physiques/sensoriels issus de l’immigration ou des communautés culturelles (JIHPSI) was successfully conducted in 2011–2012 and 2012–2013.

The JIHPSI project represented a concrete solution to some of the barriers to employment and other challenges participants were facing.

The 13-week program offered group training in pre-employability, professional and individualized psychosocial coaching as well as the integration of a paid exploratory internship in line with the needs of the labour market and adapted to participants’ preferences.
