F.F.A.T SNAPS| WEEK 19 | Timeraiser150 Montreal

Timeraiser Montréal was an immersive evening concocted by Artbangbang. Held at the top of Place Ville-Marie, It brought together people from both the arts and business communities. The evening itself was centred around a silent auction which gathered the artwork of fifteen emerging artists and made them available through a unique form of gambling.

Timeraiser is a celebration of social progress that has been set up to help artists and charitable organizations in the development of a common good. Instead of money, you bet on a favourite work of art by offering your labour for volunteer work. If you win, you will have a year to volunteer all your volunteer hours and get your work of art. The good news is that you can volunteer for the organization(s) or charity of your choice. There is even a Timeraiser application available for download to help you count all your volunteer hours.

The summit of Place Ville-Marie is a simply magnificent location. An inspired choice to celebrate these talented artists. On a beautiful May day, we were able to marvel at all the surrounding beauty. The talent of the artists was impressive. We all seemed to agree that each work was as captivating as the next. A great selection of tastes. To top it off, the organization managed to raise more than 5,000 volunteer hours!

All in all, this was a great experience. Congratulations to the team!
